Are we on the edge of another fateful blunder like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan? Or is this another Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962 when John Kennedy was President? We’re all worried about the Ukraine situation — but unless you live outside the US, it’s very hard to understand through Western media how screwed up this has gotten. Any semi-accidental spark, at this point, could set off the whole powder factory.
